Du Rietz Art Awards

I’m very pleased to announce that my sculpture, Selka, is finalist in the Du Rietz Art Awards, 3D category.

The Du Rietz Art Awards are the premier art competition for the Gympie region, named in honor of the architect of the historic School of Arts building that is home to the gallery.

With a prize pool of over $15,000, the Awards showcase exceptional 2D and 3D artworks by artists from across Australia.

In 2026, we welcome guest judges Bronwyn Davies, artist and cultural practitioner, Joseph Breikers, artist and Exhibitions and Collections Coordinator at Hervey Bay Regional Gallery, and Megan Williams, Manager University of Sunshine Coast Art Gallery.
